Robert B. Shaw, Jr., D.Min., is a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Virginia and North Carolina. He is also a published author, an ordained minister, and conference speaker. He has also been a middle school and high school teacher and athletic coach in both the public and private school environments. Dr. Shaw has spent the several years counseling military personnel and their families near Ft. Bragg, NC. He currently is an adjunct professor at Liberty University and serves in a Christian counseling agency in Lynchburg, VA, specializing in trauma related issues, spiritual formation, addictions, depression, anxiety disorders, life adjustment issues, loss and grief, counseling church leaders and pastors, and adolescents and adults. Dr. Shaw is a member of the American Association of Christian Counseling (AACC), is a National Board Certified Counselor (NBCC), and a Board Certified Professional and Pastoral Counselor (BCPPC). Dr. Shaw and his wife, a registered nurse, have been married since 1978, and have raised five children together. His newest book is Created for Significance, published by WestBow Press.
