Seacoast Church
Josh Walters grew up in Columbia, South Carolina and attended the University of South Carolina. He graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in History and Secondary Education and then received his Masters in Pastoral Counseling and Spiritual Formation from Columbia International University. Josh served as the USC Campus Outreach Director for FCA before going on staff at Shandon Baptist Church as the Associate Youth Minister. He then served as the Youth Pastor at Lakewood Church in Columbia. Josh has worked at Seacoast Church since 2007, when he was hired as the Mount Pleasant Campus Program Director for Kidscoast. Since then he has led the Connect Team and now currently serves as the Campus Pastor for the Mount Pleasant campus. He is also on the Executive Team and serves as one of Seacoast’s Teaching Pastors. Josh and his wife Katie have five children, AnnaJaye, Abigail, Abel, Asher, and Ari (The A-Team). In his off-hours, Josh loves to work on home renovation projects, play Rec League basketball and football, and spend time with his “A-Team”. Josh is passionate about reaching people with the gospel and helping them become fully devoted followers of Christ.
