Women make up much of church memberships. They have unique needs, both spiritually and emotionally. Many are needs only another woman can appreciate and effectively address. This workshop teaches a biblical model that allows women to minister and disciple one another in areas specific to their needs. Building a safe, supportive structure of spiritually meaningful friendships in a church offers the direct, nurturing care all women—whether in crisis or seeking to mature their faith—need.

Learning Objectives
Participants will:
1. Be able identify the indicators that woman to woman discipling/mentoring is needed in churches and communities
2. Learn how to develop a specific plan for building spiritually and emotionally meaningful and influential relationships among women in the church
3. Understand the importance of establishing multi-generational friendships in the church to the overall spiritual and emotional welfare of a congregation
